About LifeStyle K9

Fact 1: I have over 10 years of experience working with dogs of all types.

What that means for you: I’ve seen dogs of every personality and behavior, from anxious pups to overly energetic jumpers. This extensive experience allows me to tailor training techniques to meet your dog’s specific needs.

Fact 2: I like to keep training engaging, practical, and fun.

What that means for you: Our sessions won’t just be informative—they’ll be enjoyable, too. I make sure both you and your dog stay motivated by keeping things upbeat and fun while still focusing on real progress.

Fact 3: I’ve owned multiple reactive dogs myself.

What that means for you: I know exactly what it’s like to live with a reactive dog and the challenges it brings to daily life. This personal experience allows me to provide practical, real-life solutions that are tailored not just to your dog’s behavior but to your everyday routine, ensuring the training fits seamlessly into your life.

Fact 4: I mentored under Jonas Black and Kristina Bleeker, and have an educational background in psychology and animal behavior.

What that mean for you: My education and mentorship have equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of dog behavior, blending theory with practical application. This means I not only know what works but also why it works, allowing me to provide you with informed strategies that make sense!

Fact 5: I focus on in-home training with consistent sessions to build real-life habits.

What that means for you: Training in your home with consistent sessions allows me to help you and your dog in the environment where behaviors actually happen. A single weekly session might go perfectly, but what happens after I leave? By sticking with you through more frequent, real-time training, I can help you stay prepared and give you more tools to handle challenges as they arise, ensuring lasting progress.

Fact 6: I bring my dog, Argos, to help with training.

What that means for you: Argos, who was once aggressive, is now a calm and steady 150-pound dog. He’s great for introducing distractions in reactivity training, and he can even bark on cue to simulate real-world scenarios. Once your dog is comfortable with Argos, we’ll introduce other dogs with different energy levels, helping your dog gain experience with various canine personalities, so they’re ready for the real world.
